mapday:

Well, it’s spring and time for me to start up a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. So I thought I’d get in the mood and redraw an old map? The Land of Neldraad, in full technicolor, and the old version of Neldraad that I think I drew… 2 years ago?

I can’t wait to see the maps that I’ll be able to make 2 years from now! Hopefully Mapday will still be running, so I can keep sharing them with y’all!

oooh yea it’s dungeons and dargons tiem

The Last Adventures of Chane LeRubione, master thief and warrior.

The D&D Game I was playing in just wrapped up! Which means that I am going to start the second half of my D&D Campaign, “The Rise of the Sun King”, in a couple of weeks.

So… be on the lookout for a bunch of art from that!

Some drawings from my most recent Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Chane Lerubione, the halfling with the guitar and the headband, is perhaps the best character ever

Chane, my halfling thief from a game of d&d I just played, smashin up some orc skull with her guitar.
I will take almost any opportunity to make a character where I can play mandolin during a game of D&D.

I ran a game of D&D via the internet this last weekend! We were actually roleplaying regular schmucks in the real world, who were playing the first virtual reality MMO game ever.
whoops I may have just based a whole dnd campaign on Sword Art Online whooooooops

mapday:

For this map, I glued several pieces of paper together, ostensibly to make it harder and more map-like in person. What I actually did was write a riddle on the middle piece of paper, so that (once held up to the light) the riddle would shine through like magic.
It actually worked super well! I was quite pleased.

Takin’ a break from the megamap to chart up the newfound waters of the latest DND campaign I’m running, the Rise of the Sun King. Those long-standing followers of mapday might say, “hey, this is seems a little familiar!” If so, you’re quite right! Rise of the Sun King is set a couple thousand years before the second map up there, which was part of a campaign I ran two years ago and made a whole lot of maps for it.

(Last week on Mapday: The Megamap, part 5! Watch as the world grows, and also, dragons)

The main party (incl. NPCs and PCs) of the DnD Campaign I’m currently running, “The Rise of the Sun King”.

(Far left is Gramore “The Sting” Hodgehollow, the halfling thief. Then Nomaria, the re-incarnation of one of the other characters (Latarius), sent back into the mortal world by the god of death; then 3 pantheistic monks; Hathron the Squire and his miniature golem; famed fencer Lord Astrid Busser Cassus III and his hawk; Constantine Seracus, his backpack “Blisk the Squire”, holding Princess Rane Albastion disguised as Kenneth the Page; Somaria, Warchieftess of the Eon’Quo Isle; her younger brother Latarius (deceased); Zedra the Medic of the Order of the Silver Star; Sir Aubrey “The Quill” Bohemond, reporter for the Mohandar Press; and her artist, now deceased. )

Whew.
