MAPDAY.
(Mapday is a thing where a fantastic map of a fantastic land is drawn and made and posted here by me upon Mondays.)
Finally went and colored that map of the southern water tribe, full tilt with gradient overlays and variant hues and all that kind of thing! Here’s a little hint out there, people of the ‘verse: Waterbending is the best kind of bending, all others suck and are dumb

If Avatar was in the 1860s, and Korra’s in the 1920s, the next Avatar should be running around in the 2000s. This is a modern-day earthbender! She’s pretty badass, as most earthbenders are.

Monday is a day for maps! So Mapday is a day for the shipwrecks and otter-penguins of the Southern Water Tribe of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
This week is a little different from others, as I’m trying out a new thing: Ink! Next week, I’m going to try coloring this map a handful of ways, digitally and traditionally. You, dear readers, are welcome to color it too! ‘Twill be pretty neat to see it in a handful of styles.
