Well if it isn’t my good old friend Mapday! 

A quick reminder: On Mondays (when I don’t miss a week, *cough*) I post up a map of a fantastic land that doesn’t exist and isn’t usually for anything in particular. This event is called “Mapday”. Word up.

This map may seem a little rougher than others, but there is an reason! I ran an improved one-shot DnD game this last saturday, and just started out with a compass rose and “The lands of _” written on that sheet. Slowly I filled pieces in as the players fleshed out their stories, generating the map you see today! My assistant (a player who hadn’t ever played a pen-n-paper RPG before and therefore helped me run some NPCs) named the land Elkleven, and, well, there we go.
