Lieutenant Ore makes his final charge into the breach to buy his allies the time to escape.
Charging, of course, at 2x his move speed with a pole weapon thereby gaining a +2 bonus on his attack, while sacrificing 2 to his AC which is made up with a +3 from combat expertise and a +1 from dodge. Then, of course, he follows up with a +2 AC, -4 to attack roll defensively fighting disarm (+8 from feat and 2h weapon) attempt (with a Combat Expertise +3 AC), after which he takes a five foot step to divert flanking positions and resets his +1 AC dodge target.
Just because he’s heroically sacrificing himself, it doesn’t mean he can’t be clever about it.
